Equipment Updates: Trailer Rental Policy and Terms of Use

At Independent Service LLC, we strive to provide our clients and community with the reliable equipment needed to get the job done right. To ensure our utility and transport trailers remain in peak condition and available for those who need them, we are formally outlining our standard trailer rental policy.

Whether you are renting a trailer for a scheduled project or taking possession of our equipment for transport, the following terms apply to all usage.

1. Rental Rates and Deposit Requirements

To keep our equipment accessible, we offer straightforward, competitive rental pricing paired with a standard security deposit.

Weekly Rental Fee: $100 per week.

Security Deposit: A refundable $500 deposit is required upfront at the initiation of the rental period to secure the equipment.

2. Rental Termination and Returns

The rental agreement remains active, and fees will accumulate, until the equipment is physically returned to our custody.

Return Policy: At the conclusion of your rental period, the trailer must be promptly returned to a designated Independent Service LLC location.

Extended Fees: Rental fees of $100 per week will continue to apply automatically until the trailer is officially returned and checked in by our team.

3. Damage and Replacement Valuation

Customers assume full operational and physical responsibility for the equipment while it is in their possession.

Damage Responsibility: The customer is entirely responsible for any structural, mechanical, or cosmetic damage incurred during the rental period.

Replacement Value: In the event of total destruction, severe damage, or theft, the established replacement value of an Independent Service LLC trailer is $8,000, which the customer will be liable to pay.

4. Policy Knowledge and Binding Agreement

Taking custody of our equipment constitutes an automatic agreement to these operational rules.

Important Note: Failure to read, understand, or actively seek knowledge of this agreement does not exempt any customer from these terms. If you are voluntarily in possession of an Independent Service LLC trailer, you are legally bound by these policies, rates, and liability terms.
